This viewpoint features three granite towers rising above a turquoise glacial lagoon. The hike takes eight to nine hours round trip from the Welcome Center. Start your hike well before dawn to see the towers turn red at sunrise. You must have a certified guide to hike this section in winter.

This natural basin sits surrounded by hanging glaciers and steep granite peaks. The hike takes six to eight hours round trip from Paine Grande. Listen for the loud sound of ice calving from the Francés Glacier above as you walk.
3-4 hours one waySouthern Patagonian Ice Field
This massive wall of blue ice descends from the Southern Patagonian Ice Field into Lago Grey. Reaching the viewpoints takes three to four hours from Paine Grande. Consider booking a kayak tour or an ice hiking excursion to experience the glacier up close.
